Dental Care
Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet’s teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly – above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity. We offer multiple products to help maintain healthy teeth in between dentals depending on what is best for you and your pet.
Cold-Laser Therapy
Laser therapy is a holistic, non-invasive, effective way to treat and manage many different conditions. Such as acute & chronic ear infections, intervertebral disc disease, gingivitis & periodontal disease, hip dysplasia, cranial cruciate ligament injuries, chronic pain & inflammation, arthritis & lick granulomas, and much more. The laser beam stimulates the cells to become healthier and by doing so it reduces inflammation so that healing can begin. By reducing inflammation, the laser is a great tool for helping minimize the pain of many chronic conditions.
Penn Hip/OFA Certification
This is a diagnostic radiographic technique used to detect a genetic disorder known as Canine Hip Dysplasia (CHD). CHD is the most common inherited orthopedic disease in dogs. It is a degenerative, developmental condition, leading to painful hip osteoarthritis, stiffness, and diminished quality of life and can affect any breed of dog. Even though there is no medical or surgical cure, early detection is key. By maintaining a healthy weight and giving appropriate supplements we can help keep your pet comfortable and happy.
